Momentom Collective opens their doors yet again to the post-Envision Festival decompression event uniting DJs, festival fairies, dancers, actors and artists in this year’s absolutely wild epic location: Maderas Village in Nicaragua.
For those that don’t know, a residency is like a baby between a summit, a festival and a retreat. You live, co-create, and train with high influencers in your field and with like-minded artists. All residents, whether teachers or students, take part in the unique daily schedule, take part of the community dinners and explore discovering facets of themselves unbeknown to them before stepping foot into residency.
Hidden deep in the jungle, yet steps away from the best surf beach in Nicaragua, the residency is dubbed “Movement, Masks and Music”. The post-Envision vibe will follow through into residency.

Tamara Montengero
DJ, Sound Producer, Composer & Revolutionary
Dates in Residency: March 1st to April 15th, 2020
Self-proclaimed “creative sonic jedi”, Tamara is a Nicaraguan-born sound artist, producers, sound engineer, DJ, composer and sound designer for film. Tamara has been cultivating her path in the sonic arts for over a decade. She is an avid researcher in the fields of bioacoustics and spatial sound. Focusing on the correlation of frequencies and human physiology. She is a biologist and certified Sound Healer, student of homeopathy, international DJ and music producer, sound director for film and theater, audio engineer and Ableton Live instructor.
Her devotion to sound and music links to the higher purpose of community building and social transformation, she is able to understand the world around her in terms of vibrations, articulating them not just through words in her incredible 3 PM ted-style talks, but in her sets that will make you melt to the floor in yoga class or ecstatic dance.
Her program consists of a series of workshops that cover much material for an in-depth understanding of sound and vibration. From sound healing wisdom and practices, to music production, DJing, vibrational therapy and Sound Art.

Mose Cagen
Deep Spirit Music Producer
Dates in Residency: March 1st to March 15th, 2020
You’ve heard of him before. Mose is one the most booming music producer and DJ of our times, using music as a tool for very deep introspective experiences and ecstatic revelations. Mose is a producer & DJ primarily playing organic, midtempo/downtempo steady beat music, spending much of his time in Guatemala where cacao ceremonies, kirtan, and ecstatic dance have had a major influence on his production and DJ style. As a graduate of the pyramids of Ka, he is also influenced by hermetic philosophy, seeking balance between silence and sound, to find ultimate balance within himself.
Mose uses Music as his language to convey his deep connection to the unity through a feeling transmitted in the movement of sound over time. In his music Mose reveals how music is an opportunity to journey to deep spaces. He fuses organic elements of tribal traditions and modern medicine music. He also understands the Each year deep in silence to connect with spirit and to contrast the months he spends traveling the world sharing his music at festivals, retreats, ceremonies, and ecstatic dances. He practices lucid dreaming and explores deep meditative spaces.

Isaac Luy
Clown, Improv Artist, Actor
Dates in Residency: April 1st to April 15th, 2020
Improv Artist and Venezuelan actor with over 20 years of experience, Isaac is an “an eternal clown apprentice”. In residency, Isaac will Intro “Clown Through Mask”: a process that synthesizes Native American and European clowning traditions to guide residents in the discovery of clown. As he will teach, he will demonstrate how clowns gives us a larger sense of the divine in each of us and allow us to celebrate our humanness through vulnerability, emotional liberation, mask work and not taking ourselves too seriously. It is through opening our channels that we allow parts of ourselves to flow through.

Wren Lafeet
Dancer, Author, Authentic Relating
Dates in Residency: March 6th – March 25th, 2020
Wren is a somatic international partner dance teacher. In his signature modality, Cocréa, he teaches students mindful, authentic living which ultimately leads to enlivening communities. Wren guides people into right relationship through movement, listening and responding in service to the highest good for all life. He is a celebrated TEDx speaker, featured author in “ReInhabiting the Village” and ardent proponent of pioneering a new renaissance through authentic connection and consensual touch.
Workshops to expect in residency:
His workshops will be a deep dive into micro-technique. Navigating the intimacy of close embrace with respect and honouring of boundaries, responding with instantaneous precision and flowing effortlessly between initiation (lead) and response (follow) will all be addressed in depth.This practice is a gateway to accessing the body’s wisdom to deepening self- and relational attunement We’ll also dive into breath work, exploring the complexity of movement and the luscious richness available within the pause.

Kristina Block
Dancer, Mask Worker, Entrepreneur
Dates in Residency: March 3rd to March 17th, 2020
Kirstina is a performance artist, embodiment alchemist and founder of “Authentic Embodiment” – a conscious movement modality focused on realigning one’s body, mind, soul, and spirit into the wholeness of one’s being. She has expressed her artistry through performance dance, archetypal mask work and movement facilitation all over the globe from various festivals to private events and women’s circles.
Workshops to expect in residency:
- Authentic Embodiment Dance – A guided dance meditation to deeply connect with our body, move stagnant energies, release suppressed emotions, connect with one another, and remember wholeness within and without.
- Archetypal Mask Embodiment – a workshop using seven archetypal masks as a lens through which to view ourselves. Each mask is connected to one of the main energetic spirals (chakras), and while wearing these masks and dancing with them, we explore the light and shadow aspects of each spiral. By identifying and embodying these aspects within ourselves, we may choose to let go of the ones that no longer serve us and fully step into our power: expressed, authentic, and free.
- Mask Making Workshop – Through mask making we explore identity and identity formation, to identify and integrate disowned aspects of self, to explore spirituality, to form a deeper connection with a higher power or find an archetype, to assume a different or more empowered self, to process an event or emotions and to find balance.

When asked to title her career, Misty says “Professional purveyor of sensual art” and if you have ever met this vixen, you know its true. She is Momentom Collective’s exclusive lifestyle Photographer (how could she not be!) but also a burlesque performer, and aerialist. Misty infuses sensuous and empowering energy into each one of her artistic endeavours and teaches people to see the world through the lens of sensuality.

Ethnobotanist, Envision Festival Co-Founder, Founder & Managing Director of Punta Mona, and Founder of Alegria Village, Stephen Brooks needs no introduction within the conscious community. A pioneer for permaculture, sustainability, and community building, his footprint is astounding and message only continues to spread as the new paradigm continues to shift toward more conscious living.
Stephen is an ethnobotanist and avid plant explorer who is constantly searching the globe for plants that make human existence better. A community builder who has founded several eco villages throughout Costa Rica, Brooks is dedicated to creating experiences that radically shift the way people think. He joins us during residency to share his wisdom, insights, workshops and discussions centered around Permaculture, “Creating the Community of Your Dreams”, “Intentional Community Creation” and more.

Ladies and gentlemen, meet Rumpus. A badass drummer with a punk-rock upbringing, Rumpus infuses that alternative edge into his own unique brand of high vibe, bass heavy, funky house music.. Featured in DJ Mag as one of “12 Emerging Acts to hear this September”, this guy is king.
Powered by live drums and one-of-a-kind productions, Rumpus’s eclectic style has been flexing speakers on an international scale, with recent appearances at major festivals including Shambhala, Burning Man, Lightning in a Bottle and Shipsomnia in Ibiza. His visually captivating, high-energy live shows are favourites among freaky festival folk and are even known to turn electronic music’s skeptics into fast fans.
His releases include music on Insomniac Records, Westwood Recordings & Australia’s ‘Sweat it Out’ Club Sweat label, as well as recent collaborations with Volac, Smalltown DJs, and Neon Steve to name a few.

Born Tanner Allen, Skysia is a self-taught pianist, filmmaker, and production wizard wielding a unique approach to sampling. The burgeoning composer studied .. Drawing inspiration from global dancefloor pioneers like Bonobo (UK) and CloZee (France), Skysia returned to the West Coast empowered, immersing himself in sound design and composition, developing an ornate, minimalist mid-tempo style awash in shimmering tones Tanner make music under the name Skysia. Entranced by the art of storytelling through music, his sound reflects both light and dark, downtempo and bass driven.

Meet the beautiful Tantra Kriya yoga teacher and a teacher of sacred sexuality, Kachenka. Also a certified Biodynamic Breathwork and trauma release practitioner, she is an experienced workshop leader, coach and therapist specializing in Transformational Experiences.

- Journey Through The Lower Chakras: Restoring Our Vitality – A powerful Cacao biodynamic breath ceremony will be a 2 hour journey, dedicated to exploring and feeling our lower chakras.
